Circle of Security Parenting™

An 8-week, evidence-based parenting program that helps you become a stronger secure base and safe haven for your child.

Imagine what it might feel like to truly understand what your child is asking from you—beneath the behavior.

Circle of Security Parenting™ (COS‑P) is an evidence-based, attachment-focused program that supports parents and caregivers in making sense of their child’s emotional needs, beyond what we see on the surface. It also invites you to deepen compassion for yourself as a parent, because your experience matters too.

This is not a program that tells you what kind of parent to be.
Instead, we gently guide you to notice, reflect, and respond with greater clarity, confidence, and connection.

COS-P invites you into a supportive space to reflect on where you are in your parenting and to grow your capacity to be your child’s secure base and safe haven — no matter how old your child is.

What is Circle of Security Parenting™?

Circle of Security Parenting™ is a globally recognized, research‑based parenting program grounded in 30+ years of attachment research. At its heart is a simple yet powerful framework — the Circle — which helps parents understand:

  • What children need from us when they explore the world

  • What they need when they return for comfort, reassurance, and connection

  • How to recognize and respond to their emotional cues

  • What gets in the way for us as parents — especially under stress

Rather than focusing on behavior alone, COS‑P supports parents in strengthening the relationship that underlies all behavior.

This program invites you into a compassionate process of reflection, learning, and growth — alongside other parents walking a similar path.

What to Expect over 8 Weeks

Each 90‑minute session includes:

  • Guided learning using COS‑P video material

  • Clear explanations of key attachment concepts

  • Gentle reflection prompts

  • Space for curiosity, honesty, and self‑compassion

  • A supportive group environment led with care and respect

Over the course of 8 weeks, you’ll receive:

  • A deeper understanding of your child’s emotional world

  • Language for what your child is really asking for beneath behavior

  • Greater awareness of your own patterns, triggers, and strengths

  • Tools to support connection, repair, and emotional safety

  • Increased confidence in responding rather than reacting

This is learning that meets you where you are — not where you think you should be.

Together, we will explore what it means to be the secure base and safe haven our children need, and how to hold that role with greater kindness toward ourselves.

What Past Participants Are Saying

  • Lina is kind, gentle and insightful. She has created a safe space for parents to share, learn, and reflect on parenting strategies. This circle has shed light on ways I want to improve as a parent, but also highlight all the positive, intentional, impactful rituals I am offering to my children and family. Learning from other parents has been a powerful resource from this group.

    — Kendra A.,
Mom to 3 little humans, ages 4 (twins) & 12m

  • The Parenting Circle has been an inspiring weekly conversation with fellow mums and, of course, with Lina. It’s truly a space every mum should join, giving yourself an hour each week to take a break, fill your cup, and gain new perspectives on children’s behaviours. Lina also introduces many helpful concepts during the sessions, all of which are easy to grasp and never overwhelming. I’m grateful to be part of this group…

    — Veronica K.,
    Mom to 3 beautiful boys, ages 8, 6 & 2

  • Being part of this parenting circle has reminded me that I’m not meant to do this journey alone. Each week, hearing other parents share their struggles and victories helped me realize how much strength there is in community. I’ve learned to be more patient with my children and with myself. The circle has given me practical tools but more than that, it’s given me peace and perspective. I’ve come to see that parenting isn’t about perfection, it’s about connection , showing up with love, even on the hard days.
